Introduction

Our Fixed Income team works with clients all over the world, from multinational corporations to institutional investors and governments. Whatever they require, we can offer them the benefits of original thinking, global market knowledge and remarkable product capability.

Operating globally across credit, interest rates and foreign exchange markets, we build strong, long-term relationships with our clients by helping them to raise and invest capital and limit their exposure to risks. Clients might use our market expertise to hedge risk from future changes in foreign exchange, interest rates or inflation, the possible effects of climate change or to speculate in the markets to drive profits.

We are known for our creativity and excel at finding new opportunities and new ways to meet our clients' needs. BNP Paribas consistently leads the way in developing solutions across all product lines, aiming to minimise risk and maximise profits for our clients and for ourselves. We are pioneers in both established and emerging markets, working on some of the very first inflation-linked deals, interest rate swaps and ultra long-dated bonds.

Teamwork is essential to our success. Our highly-skilled salespeople and traders work together with colleagues in our pioneering research and structuring teams to provide tailor-made solutions for clients' individual requirements. The different roles in Fixed Income require different strengths, but whichever path you take you'll need to have a strong academic record, good analytical skills and be able to communicate well with clients and colleagues.

Nearly half of the graduate roles available in Fixed Income are based in London and New York. The remainder are spread across Europe and Asia Pacific – in particular, China, Singapore and Japan.
