Commodity Derivatives Trading
What you’ll do
You’ll assist the Senior Trader on risk managing a position, learning how to use pricing tools, pricing simple structures and performing some statistical analysis on certain products.
This is an opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of both Over-The-Counter and futures products, liaising with traders to review deals.
What you’ll need
You should be educated to Masters level in a quantitative subject, ideally Finance Analysis, Economics or Corporate Strategy.
Your technical skills should encompass statistics, maths, physics and financial mathematics. We’ll also be looking for strong IT skills, including Excel, Visual Basic and a scripting language such as Perl.
Good interpersonal skills are important and you should have a strong work ethic. English is essential and French or Spanish would be desirable. Any sales experience or exposure to financial markets would also be very useful.
