Analyst

In Mergers and Acquisitions, we provide our clients with key advice, tactics, analysis and strategies. Our work in this area is well documented via the broad sheets and financial press and so may be very familiar. As well as M&A, our clients require advice on restructures, Leveraged Buyouts (LBO), joint ventures, exchange offers and much more.

What you’ll do:

Join us as an Analyst in Corporate Finance, and you’ll be contributing to the entire M&A process, from marketing through to execution. You can expect exposure to a wide range of clients and projects, developing your knowledge through your day-to-day work as well as via specific training. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Performing accurate financial analysis and valuations by developing quantitative models for LBO, Discounted Cash flows, multiples and mergers
  • Preparing presentations and information within the origination and execution framework for M&A and Equity Capital Market transactions
  • Actively participating in the transaction process, making sure it meets our deadlines and our quality standards.

What you’ll need:

You’ll certainly have a strong academic record, but a Masters (or equivalent) would be desirable – this should have been in a field like finance, accountancy, financial analysis, valuation or corporate strategy.

We’re looking for people with previous internship experience in the fields of Corporate Finance or Mergers & Acquisitions. Any experience in credit analysis or private equity would be useful.

You’ll also need a high level of PC literacy, strong modelling and quantitative skills and fluency in English. Other languages would be an advantage.
