What you値l do:

Your role will encompass both credit analysis and credit process.

In terms of Credit Analysis, you値l be covering a geographical portfolio of corporate clients, tracking the credit flow from origination to implementation. As well as looking after deals in the pipeline, your role will involve studying proposals, assessing key topics, communicating with local credit and front teams, presenting to our Head Office credit committee and carrying out follow-ups.

You値l also need to:

  • Undertake the notification process whenever it痴 not performed automatically
  • Anticipate changes that are likely to affect creditworthiness of corporate clients
  • Understand the broad product and services offered by BNP Paribas
  • Ensure that request fits with our coverage strategy in terms of creditworthiness and profit
  • Facilitate the decision-making process by issuing a recommendation on the creditworthiness of requests.

When it comes to Credit Process, you値l act as the entry point for local credit teams, liaising with coverage, business lines and risk. Working at Head Office level and looking at all credit approval issues, you値l need to:

  • Contribute to quality management through constructive dialogues with local and Head Office teams, identifying potential problems and issues, sharing information at the appropriate level and providing feedback on decisions
  • Maintain state-of-the-art intelligence on economic and financial issues in selected coverage territories
  • Ensure that decisions are taken in the best possible conditions with optimal resource allocations by monitoring the credit process all along the decision chain
  • Contribute to the management of overdue and watch list files.

What you値l need:

An MBA is essential for this role and you値l probably bring a robust academic background in economics or financial analysis. English is essential, as is the ability to switch between different cultural environments.

Excellent communication, negotiation and team working skills are important and ideally you値l be adept at meeting tight deadlines and at managing complex flows simultaneously.

If you already have financial analysis experience and industry expertise, that would be ideal.

A readiness to use various internal database and research tools and a critical understanding of financial and strategic issues for various clients, from conglomerates to governments, would also be a plus.
