CTCM - Credit Analyst
What you'll do:
You値l enable our key decision makers to commit to acceptable deals and relationships and to monitor the global risk we undertake. It will be down to you to quantify, qualify and ensure the follow up of counterparty/credit risk assessments for clients and prospects. You値l also be responsible for the exposures of an assigned portfolio.
In addition, you can expect to:
- Ensure effective data collection and consistency
- Analyse and exploit all relevant internal and external information relating to your clients, including memos, annual reports, financial statements, industrial and sector-based analysis, brokers notes, and press and web information
- Act as an interface amongst the different participants of the credit process, both within CIB and our retail banking networks, other poles and Global Risk Management
- Participate in the banking relationship follow up, liaising with the Relationship Manager in order to better identify any credit and counterparty risks.
What you値l need:
You should have studied to at least Masters level (or equivalent) and you値l probably bring a robust academic background in economics or financial analysis. English is essential, as is the ability to switch between different cultural environments. Foreign language practice is a must.
Excellent communication, negotiation and team working skills are important and ideally you値l be adept at meeting tight deadlines and at managing complex flows simultaneously.
If you already have financial analysis experience and industry expertise, that would be ideal.
A readiness to use various internal database and research tools and a critical understanding of financial and strategic issues for various clients, from conglomerates to governments, would also be a plus.
