What you’ll do:

The Sales teams at BNP Paribas are pivotal on the trading floor. They also play the vital role of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients in order to win business for the bank.

Once a relationship has been formed, the Sales team will advise clients, based on information collated from our Research and Structuring teams. Our Sales experts then liaise with Traders to execute deals on behalf of the client. An in-depth understanding of each client as well as the products we can offer them is essential in order to pre-empt their needs and provide products tailored to their requirements.

There are various roles within Sales, from Origination/DCM and Structured Sales to Derivatives Marketing. All vary in terms of the technical skills you’ll develop, but for all Sales roles you will need to be persuasive, convincing and good at building relationships.


What you’ll need:

You should be educated to MFE/MS, MBA or PhD level in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Statistics or a relevant field. Some prior financial services experience is preferred.
