Structuring Associate

To join this award-winning group of individuals, you値l need to be analytical and confident in modelling complex trade ideas. A good Structurer is able to simplify this complexity when communicating to others.
Structurers focus on developing and pricing complex structured products designed to meet specific client needs. These strategic solutions are formulated by working with sales to analyse client needs and then assisting the sales team in selling this solution to the client.
What you値l do:
You値l be involved in the structuring and analysis of trade and product ideas. Specifically, you値l need to carry out structuring, pricing and analysis of derivatives products, including swaps, options and exotics.We値l expect you to help salespeople analyse client needs, offering solutions based on derivatives/structured products, creating marketing materials and presentations, and meeting clients together with senior marketing staff.
Your role also involves helping to push trade ideas internally and to clients, and building and maintaining useful marketing tools on the intranet. These could include trade ideas, termsheets and presentation templates.
What you値l need:
You should be educated to MFE/MS, MBA or PhD level in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Statistics or a relevant field. Your technical skills should encompass Excel and C/C++ and you値l also have expertise in one or more of the following areas: probability, stochastic differential equations, numerical methods, econometric modelling and financial maths. A second language is advantageous, especially Japanese, Mandarin and European languages.
