Quantitative research

This team is responsible for developing the statistical and trading models, platforms, methodologies and reference tools used by our business. They work with innovative mathematical, statistical and technological concepts on a daily basis.

As a Quantitative Analyst you're likely to be given your own project to work on which could involve designing, testing and implementing new strategies, improving existing tools and methodologies, probability modelling and statistical analysis. As an associate, your role is wide ranging and will involve everything from implementing pricing models in C++, giving internal presentations and supporting trading and marketing desks globally. You'll also develop, maintain and enhance the financial models used for pricing, risk management and accounting.

Analyst

Entry to this field is limited to those with a Masters or PhD (or equivalent) level in finance, maths, statistics, theoretical physics or a related subject. Your technical skills should encompass Visual Basic for Applications, Excel and Stochastic calculus and numerical methods. Ideally, you'll have relevant work experience along with a knowledge of electronic markets, models and arbitrage strategies and charts.

Associate

You should be educated to MFE/MS, MBA or PhD level in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Statistics or a relevant field. Your technical skills should encompass Excel and C/C++ and a second language is advantageous, especially Japanese, Mandarin and European languages.
