Fixed Income Research

Researchers analyse and forecast market or economic trends, specialising in industries, regions or economies. Their impartial intelligence helps to shape Sales and Trading strategies for clients and for our business.

There are a range of roles available across the business ranging from Economic Research to Strategy. The bulk of your day-to-day duties will be analysing financial data, contributing to internal and external research publications, presenting research to colleagues and clients, and maintaining financial models and spreadsheets.

To be part of our Research team, advanced excel spreadsheet and modelling skills are essential, as is good judgement and the ability to formulate convincing arguments, so you'll need excellent written and verbal skills.

Analyst

You should have a Bachelor's or further degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Finance or Maths and have good skills in statistical analysis.

Associate

You should be educated to MFE/MS, MBA or PhD level in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Statistics or a relevant field and have particular expertise in one or more of the following areas: probability, stochastic differential equations, numerical methods, econometric modelling and financial maths.
