Commodity Derivatives Sales
You'll use technical and fundamental analysis to stay abreast of market movements. Your role will involve developing strong trust-based relationships with both producer and consumer clients, and advising them on how to manage their price-risk exposure by presenting them with market commentary and outlining hedging rationale. You'll also need to develop a detailed understanding of Over-The-Counter and futures products.
In addition, your corporate clients will look to you to price risk-management solutions and liaise with traders to review deals on their behalf. You'll also be required to investigate trade-settlement problems and support senior marketers on the desk.
We'll be looking for competency in all MS Office programmes and particularly PowerPoint and Excel. You'll also need the ability to deliver persuasive and convincing sales pitches, to write reports and to analyse, summarise and deliver presentations.
Ideally you'll have a Master's degree in Finance Analysis, Economics or Corporate Strategy. Proactive and reliable, you'll bring good interpersonal skills and fluency in English. French would be desirable and if you've had sales experience or exposure to financial markets, so much the better.
