Structurers design, price and transact creative solutions using derivative products to meet clients' more complex needs, forming the link between Sales and Trading.
As a Structurer, your role will involve marketing trading ideas and pricing products both internally and to clients. Structuring, pricing and analysing derivative products including swaps, options and exotics will play a large part in your role. You’ll investigate and propose bespoke solutions to client needs and help to solve client problems. You'll also be involved in developing and updating marketing materials. Finding the right answers requires an in-depth understanding of our products and the current market conditions and working closely with Sales to gain deeper insight into clients’ requirements.
Highly educated and numerate, you'll be analytical and logical, and feel confident in modelling complex trade and product ideas; you'll also be able to explain them to others so excellent communication skills are essential. The challenge of identifying and creating new solutions means that innovation and a capacity to think differently about a problem are important skills. A second language can be advantageous.
