Our equity derivatives team has set global standards of excellence, trading a very complete range of asset classes on every index, every exchange and every market worldwide. Trading teams are split between proprietary trading, exotic client books trading and financing and forward trading.

As a Trading Analyst or Associate, you will quickly have the opportunity to learn how to trade. Initially the role will involve, amongst other things the quantitative and qualitative analysis of trading strategies; helping senior traders to track their positions; and overseeing book positions and adjustments.

You'll need to be highly numerate with a talent for modelling and programming. You’ll also need excellent communication, team-working and problem solving skills. Programming skills are important and a second language is advantageous.

Analyst
You'll need at least a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a subject such as Maths, Physics, Finance or Statistics.

Associate
You should be educated to MFE/MS, MBA or PhD level in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Statistics or a relevant field. You will also need expertise in one or more of the following areas: probability, stochastic differential equations, numerical methods, econometric modelling and financial maths. A second language is advantageous.
